What to expect from integrations.

Does every Australian energy provider have an API?

No. Interface availability varies widely: some providers publish documented APIs, some offer authorised data exports, and some have no external interface at all. We confirm what is actually available for your accounts during discovery before committing to an approach.

Is this monitoring, or can it control equipment?

Read-only monitoring is the default. Control capability depends on the specific device or platform, vendor permissions, warranty conditions and your own authorisation and safety requirements. Where control is in scope, it is designed with explicit approval boundaries.

What happens when a provider changes their API?

Interfaces change. Integrations are built with versioned adapters, monitoring on data freshness and alerting when a source stops behaving as expected, and ongoing maintenance is agreed as part of the engagement rather than assumed.
